Cooling Education Support from SOSİAD to Vocational High Schools
The Association of Refrigeration Industry Businessmen (SOSİAD) continues its educational activities for vocational high school students who will play an important role in the future of the sector. On May 7–8, the association organized “Commercial Type Refrigerated Cabinets Training” at four different Vocational and Technical Anatolian High Schools in Istanbul.
On May 7, the training sessions were held at Avcılar Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School and Hacı Fatma Gül Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School with the participation of 11th-grade students. The program covered the working principles, usage areas, and industry applications of commercial type refrigerated cabinets. SOSİAD Chairman Türkay Yıldırım, Vice Chairman Hayati Can, Director Kemal Öz, and Officer Onur Arslan met with the students.
On May 8, the same training was provided to 11th-grade students of Pendik Borsa Istanbul Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, as well as 9th, 10th, and 11th-grade students of the Installation Technology and Air Conditioning Department at Türk Çimento Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School. The program was attended by SOSİAD Chairman Türkay Yıldırım, SOSİAD Member Ercan Ateş, Director Kemal Öz, and Officer Onur Arslan.
The students showed great interest in the training, where both theoretical knowledge and industry experiences were shared. At the end of the program, students had the opportunity to reinforce their knowledge by asking questions.
SOSİAD officials emphasized the importance of strengthening technical education and preparing young people for the sector, and expressed their gratitude to the school administrations that supported the training and to Ercan Ateş from Çözüm Soğutma for his contributions.
